1. Zinc for hair growth
Zinc plays an essential role in regulating the sebaceous glands surrounding hair follicles. Zinc deficiency can lead to hair loss. A 2014 clinical study showed that zinc supplements are helpful in improving hair loss caused by zinc deficiency. (Karashima et al., 2012)
